Working closely with the director, I have been commissioned as the Creative Marketing Designer/trailer editor for an upcoming British film ‘SUSU’ by director/writer Yixi Sun and FCTHEMOVIE production (‘SUSU’ has been selected and presented in the First Fiction Films World Competition section at the 41st Montreal World Film Festival in 2017). By providing a complete visual identity system, my work involves both creation and strategy management across the online and offline solutions.
In order to complete the film’s unique brand image and visual consistency, I have designed and built up the official website (http://susuthemovie.com), created a series of graphic design materials, including the film title design, marketing stationeries design (official poster, brochure, leaflet, billboard banner and business card) and online promotional design for twitter and facebook campaign.
Besides, as the commissioned film trailer editor, I have also created the official trailer that is now used on the website as well as all other major promotional online platforms. By combining all different aspects of branding and benefiting the range of skills I have, the project has been a good practice for establishing a new brand image in the film industry.
